Welcome to Ideal Trip Makers — where travel meets purpose. Founded by Siraj Maliyakkal, a passionate explorer who turned his love for journeys into a movement of joy, education, and meaningful travel.
Our Journey
After completing his graduation in Electronics, Siraj began his career as a Customer Service Executive at Firstsource Cochin in 2009 (Vodafone Process). In 2010, he joined Fortune Retreats Condominium Pvt. Ltd. in Calicut as a Business Development Executive — a travel company that introduced him to the world of travel and tour sales.
Later that year, when the company’s branch closed, Siraj co-founded his first venture: Landmark Retreats Holidays. With experience in travel memberships, he saw a bigger opportunity — educational tours. His first school group was from his own college, which gave him the insight that there was no professional operator in the education segment.
In 2013, he moved on to co-found ITTC Holidays Pvt. Ltd., backed by the legacy of India Tourism and Travel Corporation (est. 1974). Using the trust of the brand, they ran a successful membership program and tour operations. Siraj exited in 2014.
In 2015, Ideal Trip Makers was born — starting humbly from an internet café in Malappuram under the name “Ideal Online and Travel Services”. By 2016, Ideal Trip Makers had begun organizing professional educational tours, supported by brochures and a website.
On August 1, 2017, the Ideal Trip Makers Thamarassery office was inaugurated by Shri Munavvarali Shihab Thangal. In 2018, just as things were growing across educational tours, international holidays, visa services, and air ticketing, Siraj met with an unfortunate accident. But that didn’t stop the journey.
